Our Most Asked Linen Questions

READ OUR FAQ'S HERE
Where is your Linen Sourced?

Our linen is grown and produced in France directly from the flax plant, giving it a high-quality and luxurious natural finish. European flax is widely regarded as the premium fibre for natural linens, and we’ve spent many years testing fabrics and building relationships with trusted suppliers to provide the best possible products. All of our linen products are designed with love by Sable Bebe in Northern NSW Australia and are pre-washed after manufacturing for a soft, textural look.
Is your linen eco-friendly and what certifications for you have?

Yes! Natural French linen is produced without the use of any pesticides and is 100% recyclable and biodegradable - just one of the many reasons we’re so passionate about our products. It also requires less resources to produce, making it a more sustainable fabric.

Both our linen covers and lounger insert are certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, ensuring they are safe for use with delicate skin. You can read more about this certification here.
How do I care for my linen?

• Wash separately in lukewarm water (below 40°C)
• Turn items inside out before washing
• Use a gentle cycle or hand wash
• Use a mild detergent (no bleach or optical brighteners)
• Air dry in the shade
• Steam or press on low heat if needed

Regular washing helps maintain linen’s natural softness.

Avoid
• Bleach or optical brighteners
• Fabric softener
• Hot water washing
• High heat tumble drying
• Direct sunlight when drying or storing

    Lovely

Lovely quilt. Great quality. Oatmeal colour is more like a dark greyish colour which is different to what I expected. Just wish the stripes were on the ‘front’ and oatmeal on the ‘back’ (tag and edging differentiates this).
