Natural Linen Characteristics
Small slubs, knots and variations in the weave are a natural characteristic of linen and can occur during the weaving process. These unique details are part of the beauty of genuine linen and are not considered faults.

Caring for your Linen
To keep your linen pieces fresh and long-lasting:
- Wash separately in lukewarm water (below 40°C)
- Turn covers and bedding inside out before washing
- Use a gentle machine cycle or careful hand wash
- If hand washing, soak for no longer than 10 minutes
- Use a mild, linen-safe detergent free from bleach or optical brighteners
- Air-dry in the shade to maintain colour and fibre strength
- Lightly steam or press on low heat if desired
Regular washing helps maintain softness, while allowing your linen to rest between uses will support its natural shape and longevity.
To Preserve your Linen
Please avoid:
- Bleach or detergents containing optical brighteners
- Fabric softener
- Hot water washing
- Tumble-drying on high heat
- Drying or storing in direct sunlight
These can weaken fibres, cause shrinkage, or fade the natural tones of your linen.
