What is a nursing pillow used for?

Our nursing pillow is designed to support both you and your baby during feeding. It helps lift your baby to a more comfortable height, reducing strain on your arms, shoulders and back while creating a secure, supported position.

Is your nursing pillow suitable for both breastfeeding and bottle feeding?

Yes. Our nursing pillow can be used for both breastfeeding and bottle feeding, offering stable support regardless of how you choose to feed your baby.

Is the nursing pillow suitable for all body types and feeding positions?

Our nursing pillows are designed to provide comfortable support during feeding and can be used across a variety of feeding positions. As comfort preferences can vary from person to person, we recommend reviewing the listed dimensions prior to purchase. Individual product sizing and measurements can be found within the Product Details section on each product page.

Can the nursing pillow be used beyond the newborn stage?

Yes. While it’s designed primarily for feeding support in the early months, many parents continue using their nursing pillow as their baby grows.

It can be used for assisted tummy time by gently positioning your baby over the pillow to help build neck and upper body strength under supervision. As your little one becomes stronger and starts learning to sit, the pillow can also provide supported sitting, helping create a soft, stable surround while they practise balance.

Always use under close supervision and adjust positioning as your baby’s development progresses.

What is the Nursing Pillow Made from?

Our nursing pillow filling is made out of pearl cotton (inner fabric) and tencel (outer layer).

Pearl Cotton is a mercerized cotton yarn twisted, two-ply thread. This results in it being soft, silky and plush to touch.

Tencel is a natural fibre made from wood pulp which is spun into yarn and then woven into a fabric that is highly absorbent and breathable.

What is the Nursing Pillow fit supposed to be like?

Our covers are designed to be snug. For this reason, you may need to play around a little when putting the cover on your nursing pillow to ensure it is sitting correctly.

Is your linen eco-friendly and what certifications for you have?

Yes! Natural French linen is produced without the use of any pesticides and is 100% recyclable and biodegradable - just one of the many reasons we’re so passionate about our products. It also requires less resources to produce, making it a more sustainable fabric.

Both our linen covers and lounger insert are certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, ensuring they are safe for use with delicate skin. You can read more about this certification here.

Can I wash my nursing pillow in the machine?

Yes the nursing pillow itself can be machine washed. Please follow the wash instructions above however please note the pillow is not designed to be tumble dried. Instead, lay flat to air dry.

For more details on how to care for your Nursing Pillow, head to our care guide.

For the cover, remove the cover from the pillow and wash separately using lukewarm water (<40 degrees) and either a gentle hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle, using a mild detergent that contains no bleach or optical brighteners. Fabric softener is not necessary or required when washing linen. Linen will naturally soften with each wash. If you choose to hand wash your linen only leave to soak for a maximum of 10 minutes.

We recommend laying your linen flat to air-dry in the shade and out of direct sunlight. We advise against drying your linen in a tumble dryer. If you do need to use a tumble dryer, do so on low heat only and ensure that your linen is removed whilst still slightly damp and lay flat to finish drying. Over drying your linen in a tumble dryer may cause the linen to become brittle and bleached.
