Behind The Design: The Making Of Our Leather Collection

From the very beginning, our vision was simple: create a collection that felt as beautiful as it was practical.

Not just another nappy bag, but thoughtfully designed pieces parents would genuinely love carrying every day. Pieces that blended seamlessly into daily life without compromising on functionality.

That vision became months of sketching, sampling, testing and refining until every detail felt just right.

Here's a look behind the collection.

Where It All Started

Every product begins as an idea. Before there were samples or colour swatches, there were pages filled with sketches, notes and conversations about what parents actually need.

We spent time looking at the little frustrations that come with everyday parenting. Bags that were difficult to organise. Accessories that didn't quite fit. Designs that looked beautiful but weren't practical enough for real life.

Our goal wasn't simply to create another collection. It was to create pieces that felt effortless to use, looked timeless, and would become everyday essentials.

Every Detail Was Intentional

Nothing in this collection happened by accident. Every pocket, every compartment, every zip placement and every material choice was carefully considered.

Some samples came back and went straight back for revision. Others were adjusted multiple times before we were happy. From proportions and functionality to hardware finishes and stitching, every decision was made with purpose.

Because when something is designed to be used every day, the smallest details make the biggest difference.

Finding The Perfect Colours

One of the longest parts of the process was perfecting our colour palette. We wanted timeless shades that would work beautifully together while feeling elevated enough to carry well beyond the baby years.

Each colour was sampled, compared in different lighting and tested across multiple materials before making the final selection. The result is a collection designed to remain beautiful season after season.

Bringing The Collection To Life

Once every design was finalised, it was time to tell its story. Our campaign wasn't just about photographing products. It was about capturing how these pieces fit into everyday life.

From styling each look to choosing locations, working with families and reviewing every image throughout the shoot, every part of the creative process reflected the same care that went into designing the collection itself.

Every photograph was thoughtfully planned to showcase not only how the products look, but how they're designed to be used.
